T.P.Shared: remove `backslashEscapes`, `escapeStringUsing`.
[API change]
These are inefficient association list lookups.
Replace with more efficient functions in the writers that
used them (with 10-25% performance improvements in
haddock, org, rtf, texinfo writers).
