2016-01-19Add TEI Writer.csforste1-0/+320
2016-01-14HTML writer: harmless code simplification.John MacFarlane1-34/+32
Since the 'math' is only put into the template if stMath is set anyway, there's no need for this conditional.
2016-01-13Org writer - pass through RawInline with format "org".John MacFarlane1-2/+7
2016-01-10LaTeX writer: figure labelmb211-19/+24

2015-12-29Use cmark 0.5.John MacFarlane1-17/+17
Closes #2605.
2015-12-22ConTeXt writer: set default layout based on margin-left, etc.John MacFarlane1-0/+10
This sets up `\setuplayout` based on the variables `margin-left`, `margin-right`, `margin-bottom`, and `margin-top`, if no layout is given.
2015-12-22LaTeX writer: create defaults for geometry using margin-left etc.John MacFarlane1-1/+10
If `geometry` has no value, but `margin-left`, `margin-right`, `margin-top`, and/or `-margin-bottom` are given, a default value for `geometry` is created from these. Note that these variables already affect PDF production via HTML5 with wkhtmltopdf.
2015-12-19LaTeX/Beamer template changes (Thomas Hodgson):John MacFarlane1-0/+1
* Added `thanks` variable * Use `parskip.sty` when `indent` isn't set (fall back to using `setlength` as before if `parskip.sty` isn't available). * Use `biblio-style` with biblatex. * Added `biblatexoptions` variable. * Added `section-titles` variable (defaults to true) to enable/suppress section title pages in beamer slide shows. * Moved beamer themes after fonts, so that themes can change fonts. (Previously the fonts set were being clobbered by lmodern.sty.)

2015-12-13Merge pull request #2570 from mb21/rst-reader-imgattrsJohn MacFarlane2-27/+34
Image attributes
2015-12-13Fixed ICML image syntax for local files.John MacFarlane1-1/+1
`file:filename` rather than `file://./filename`. I think this is right; it matches what we had before with people actually using the ICML writer, and seems to match examples in the spec. I don't have a copy of InDesign I can test on, though. @DigitalPublishingToolkit and @mb21, can you have a look?
2015-12-13Use posix path separators in ICML link URIs.John MacFarlane1-1/+1
Closes #2589.
2015-12-13ODT/OpenDocument writer: improved image attributesmb212-27/+34
- support for percentage widths/heights - use Attr instead of title to get dimensions from ODT walker to writeOpenDocument
2015-12-13AsciiDoc writer: support anchors in spans with id elements.John MacFarlane1-1/+5
2015-12-13AsciiDoc writers: Add anchors on Div elements.John MacFarlane1-1/+4
This partially addresses jgm/pandoc-citeproc#143. It does not use the native asciidoc syntax for citations, but it does get the links to individual citations working.
2015-12-12Restore no wrapping of XML in Docx, ODT.John MacFarlane2-2/+2
It's possible that wrapping causes problems; safer to turn it off.
2015-12-12FB2 writer: support SoftBreak.John MacFarlane1-1/+2
This was omitted earlier.
2015-12-11Implemented SoftBreak and new `--wrap` option.John MacFarlane25-69/+177
Added threefold wrapping option. * Command line option: deprecated `--no-wrap`, added `--wrap=[auto|none|preserve]` * Added WrapOption, exported from Text.Pandoc.Options * Changed type of writerWrapText in WriterOptions from Bool to WrapOption. * Modified Text.Pandoc.Shared functions for SoftBreak. * Supported SoftBreak in writers. * Updated tests. * Updated README. Closes #1701.
2015-12-01Docx writer: better handling of PDF images.John MacFarlane1-8/+2
Previously we tried to get the image size from the image even if an explicit size was specified. Since we still can't get image size for PDFs, this made it impossible to use PDF images in docx. Now we don't try to get the image size when a size is already explicitly specified.
2015-11-24Markdown writer: use raw HTML for link/image attributes whenJohn MacFarlane1-2/+12
the `link_attributes` extension is unset and `raw_html` is set. Closes #2554.
2015-11-23Beamer writer: mark frame as fragile when it contains verbatim.John MacFarlane1-5/+1
Closes #1613.
2015-11-23AsciiDoc writer: Fixed code blocks.John MacFarlane1-7/+6
Closes #1861.
2015-11-23Define a `meta-json` variable for all writers.John MacFarlane2-3/+6
This contains a JSON version of all the metadata, in the format selected for the writer. So, for example, to get just the YAML metadata, you can run pandoc with the following custom template: $meta-json$ Closes #2019. The intent is to make it easier for static site generators and other tools to get at the metadata.
2015-11-19Renamed link attribute extensions.John MacFarlane1-1/+1
* Old `link_attributes` -> `mmd_link_attributes` * Recently added `common_link_attributes` -> `link_attributes` Note: this change could break some existing workflows.
2015-11-19Merge branch 'new-image-attributes' of https://github.com/mb21/pandoc into ↵John MacFarlane23-229/+443
mb21-new-image-attributes * Bumped version to 1.16. * Added Attr field to Link and Image. * Added `common_link_attributes` extension. * Updated readers for link attributes. * Updated writers for link attributes. * Updated tests * Updated stack.yaml to build against unreleased versions of pandoc-types and texmath. * Fixed various compiler warnings. Closes #261. TODO: * Relative (percentage) image widths in docx writer. * ODT/OpenDocument writer (untested, same issue about percentage widths). * Update pandoc-citeproc.

Interpret pauses correctly for all headers
2015-11-19Merge pull request #2506 from adunning/patch-1John MacFarlane1-3/+0
Remove redundant `center` variable for reveal.js.
2015-11-16Haddock writer: omit formatting inside links.John MacFarlane1-2/+2
It isn't supported by Haddock. Closes #2515.
2015-11-16ICML writer: better handling of math.John MacFarlane1-1/+3
Instead of just printing the raw tex, we now try to fake it with unicode characters.
2015-11-16HTML writer: Include `example` class for example lists.John MacFarlane1-0/+3
Closes #2524.
2015-11-15Docx writer: insert space between footnote ref and footnote.John MacFarlane1-2/+2
This matches Word's default behavior. Closes #2527.
2015-11-14Allow more customization of opendocument styles.John MacFarlane1-2/+1
Automatic styles can now be inserted in the template, since the template, not the writer, now provides the enclosing `<office:automatic-styles>` tags. Closes #2520.
2015-11-15Interpret pauses correctly for all headersmichaelbeaumont1-5/+3
Previously, when using headers below the slide level, pauses are left uninterpreted into pauses. In my opinion, unexpected behavior but intentional looking at the code. Fixes #2530
2015-11-12EPUB writer: don't download linked media when `data-external` attribute set.John MacFarlane1-1/+2
By default pandoc downloads all linked media and includes it in the EPUB container. This can be disabled by setting `data-external` on the tags linking to media that should not be downloaded. Example: <audio controls="1"> <source src="http://www.sixbarsjail.it/tmp/bach_toccata.mp3" type="audio/mpeg"></source> </audio> Closes #2473.
2015-11-12LaTeX writer: set `colorlinks`...John MacFarlane1-1/+4
if `linkcolor`, `urlcolor`, `citecolor`, or `toccolor` is set. Closes #2508.
2015-11-09Restored Text.Pandoc.Compat.Monoid.John MacFarlane2-0/+2
Don't use custom prelude for latest ghc. This is a better approach to making 'stack ghci' and 'cabal repl' work. Instead of using NoImplicitPrelude, we only use the custom prelude for older ghc versions. The custom prelude presents a uniform API that matches the current base version's prelude. So, when developing (presumably with latest ghc), we don't use a custom prelude at all and hence have no trouble with ghci. The custom prelude no longer exports (<>): we now want to match the base 4.8 prelude behavior.
2015-11-09Revert "Use -XNoImplicitPrelude and 'import Prelude' explicitly."John MacFarlane26-26/+0
This reverts commit c423dbb5a34c2d1195020e0f0ca3aae883d0749b.
2015-11-09Remove redundant `center` variable for reveal.js.Andrew Dunning1-3/+0
This is no longer needed with the updates to the template in https://github.com/jgm/pandoc-templates/commit/da139313d2e2ba99f4d31be6ea376dabf8c877ff
2015-11-08Use -XNoImplicitPrelude and 'import Prelude' explicitly.John MacFarlane26-0/+26
This is needed for ghci to work with pandoc, given that we now use a custom prelude. Closes #2503.
2015-11-01LaTeX writer: properly handle footnotes in captions.John MacFarlane1-15/+18
Closes #1506.
2015-11-01LaTeX writer: avoid footnotes in list of figures.John MacFarlane1-1/+14
Footnotes aren't allowed in the list of figures. This patch causes footnotes to be stripped from captions when entered into the list of figures. Footnotes still don't actually WORK in captions in latex/pdf, but at least an error is no longer raised. See #1506.
2015-10-30HTML writer: use width on whole table if col widths sum to < 100%.John MacFarlane1-2/+9
Otherwise some browsers display the table with the columns separated far apart.
